How to Volunteer

Classroom Docents: Volunteer to guide the students through the Art in Action lessons. No prior art knowledge or artistic ability is necessary. Free training is provided at the Art in Action main campus in Menlo Park. Classroom

Volunteers: Volunteer to provide assistance in the classroom during Art in Action lesson. This involves minor prep work, passing out materials, supporting the students through their project, and collecting materials.

Mounting/Labeling: Most artwork is mounted on paperwork and all artwork needs to be labeled with the students name. Labels for each project/class will be provided. This is a great take home project.

Library Docents: Once a month each grade’s artwork is featured at the Menlo Park Library. This task involves changing out the art.
