Dear Nativity School Parents & Students:
I have been taking a few weeks off due to the rain. There was not much
to report
during all the wet weather. I am happy to report and you can see, our
wonderful
general contractor is making up time as we now have some dry weather.
We are in the process of completing the following:
Roof on the lower
part of the pavilion
Steel decking on the high roof over the gymnasium floor
Block columns at the eating area outside the stage area
The framing of all the outer rooms in the pavilion (kitchen storage,
team rooms,
bathrooms, etc.)
Fire sprinklers in both buildings
All steel work
Important Reminders to ALL:
- Please
DO NOT pull into or use any of the driveways of our neighbors on
Laurel for drop off or to make turns. There have been many complaints
of our parents using their driveways. We want to continue to be
considerate neighbors.
- We
have received several complaints regarding the Bike Lane in
front of Nativity School on Laurel Street. Please be cognizant of the
safety issue that bikers have the right of way in the Bike Lane. Beware of opening car doors for
the safety of passing bikers.
- When
dropping off or picking up in the Oak Grove parking lot, please pull as
far forward when arriving allowing as many cars to stop as possible and
as soon as your child is dropped off, please pull out. This will
keep the line moving.
