My name is Susan Foster. I have been teaching at Nativity School off and on since 1988. I graduated from Nativity in 1978 and went on to Saint Francis High School. Following high school I went to Canada College and received my AA in Child Development and a minor in Child Psychology. I then went to CSU Chico and received my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, minor in Child Development and my multiple subject teaching credential. I met my husband, Brad, in college. We were married in 1989. I continued my education at San Jose State University and received my Masters in Administration in 1994.
I have three children who have/are attending Nativity School. My eldest son was in the Class of 2005, my second son was the Class of 2006 and my daughter is in the Class of 2011. We live in Menlo Park, which is the same city I grew up in! We all love to travel, attend sporting events, and spend time as a family.
I truly love teaching at Nativity and being a part of the Parish. I began teaching in 1989 and taught three years in the Second Grade. I stayed home with my boys and did daycare for 5 years. I returned to Nativity in 1996 to teach Kindergarten. Following this year, I had my daughter. I then substituted for three years while staying home. I came back in 2001 and became the Resource Teacher. I love to watch the children grow and become good Christians. As you can see I have not strayed to far from Nativity, I love everything it stands for!!
