Dear Fifth Grade Parents:
The count down is 7 weeks! It is hard to believe. It seems as though the year couldn’t possibly be near completion. We still have a lot to go through, so I’m working my best at keeping the kids into their studies.
Thank you to all for helping your children with the water unit at home assignments. We wrote thank you letters to California Water for sponsoring us and providing us with all of the appliances and testing materials. It was a fun unit and to sum it all up for us we have a special treat. Today, Mr. Guy from Guy Plumbing spoke to our class concerning how water gets to our houses and our very own faucets! I am grateful that he is such a gracious volunteer.
Tomorrow is the all school Rosary, at the church, at 1:30. This is presented by Student Council and we are encouraging everyone to bring their own rosaries. It should be a beautiful tribute to Our Lady. I hope some of you might be able to come and share with us.
This coming Sunday is our Fifth Grade, 9:30 mass at Nativity. I hope to see you there!
Planet Reports are going to be completed in class tomorrow (posters). Planet models are due Friday. Monthly reading logs are due tomorrow and Book reports, Autobiography or Biography, projects are due May 6th.
