Dear 8th grade students and parents,
Welcome to your final year here at Nativity.
For most of you this journey started 8 years ago. The beginning of the
year marks 3 full years that I have known you. When I started at
Nativity, you were entering into the 4th grade.
This marked a milestone of sorts. Your last year in the lower
grade hallway and looming promises of new adventures in the upper grade
hallway. Over the years, I have seen you mature and progress into
the young men
and women that you are now
As you enter into your final year, there are 3
things that I want you to keep in mind:
- Don't ever forget where you came from and who
has helped you get to this point in your life.
- Live for the moment because you will only be in
8th grade once. Make this year count.
- The future is yours for the taking. Embrace
your talents and test your limitations.
I am looking forward to a wonderful and successful
year.
God Bless,
Mr Hickam
