Dear 8th grade students and parents,

     Welcome to your final year here at Nativity. For most of you this journey started 8 years ago. The beginning of the year marks 3 full years that I have known you.  When I started at Nativity, you were entering into the 4th grade. This marked a milestone of sorts.  Your last year in the lower grade hallway and looming promises of new adventures in the upper grade hallway.  Over the years, I have seen you mature and progress into the young men and women that you are now

As you enter into your final year, there are 3 things that I want you to keep in mind:

1. Don't ever forget where you came from and who has helped you get to this point in your life. 
2. Live for the moment because you will only be in 8th grade once. Make this year count.
3. The future is yours for the taking. Embrace your talents and test your limitations.

I am looking forward to a wonderful and successful year.
