Each week the students are given a homework packet. This packet is given on Monday and due back on Friday morning. Each packet includes the following:

- a 4 night reading log

- a spelling packet which includes ABC order, 3 times each, and a practice test

- a writing prompt with includes brainstorming, sloppy copy, and final copy

There is also nightly math homework.

In the second semester of second grade the students are sometimes given social studies homework or science homework that is due back the following day. It is the students responsibility to write this homework in their homework folder, it will also be posted on the board in class, and under the special nightly homework tab on my website!
