Hi! I'm Mary Joe and have been at Nativity since 1991. I love teaching 4th Grade because the students are at an interesting age and have many ideas to share. All the aspects of the 4th Grade curriculum enrich our love of learning while drawing upon our learning experiences from previous years.

I started the Nativity School Student Choir in 1995 as I love having the students sing at Mass as well as in the classroom. I found the students love to sing and so do I. When the students sing at Mass, they fill the church with their angelic voices while becoming more active Mass participants.

My husband and I live in San Mateo. We have two married grown children, Jeffrey and Martha, and one grandchild. I truly love being at Nativity School and Parish:  they remind me of my family parish in Pennsylvania.
