Welcome to Fifth Grade------Mrs. Wright

I am thrilled to be teaching 5th grade! It is a wonderful year of growth, academically, emotionally and spiritually for each and every child.

I am a graduate of Hope College in Holland, Michigan, where I majored in Economics and Business. (I took the long route to teaching!) Business management/ training was my career for many years, before I decided to change direction and begin teaching in the classroom. It has been a perfect move for me-the education never ends!

I was introduced to Nativity when my family moved to California in 2003. My youngest son was enrolled in 8th grade and I began working part time in Junior High. In 2004, I began teaching 3rd, and in 2006, I  moved to the 5th grade position and also began teaching the 6th grade Ancient History class. For 6 years previous to 2003, I taught at the Junior High level, for Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Scottsdale, Az.

My husband, Gary, and I have been blessed with three sons. My oldest, Peter, is an MBA graduate from the University of Denver and newly married, my middle son, Jon, is a Senior at San Francisco State, and my youngest, Nick, is a Junior at the University of San Francisco. I am originally from the Midwest, but during 29 years of marriage, have moved 7 times domestically as well as a short stint overseas. I know how people must adapt to life and have many stories to share!

I hope to inspire your students to be life long learners and confident about God's love and commitment to them. I am honored to have your support.
