It was nice seeing so many parents at Open House. The students received many compliments on their Hero Essays. This week is very busy with Catholic Schools Week and the field trip to the Rosicrucian Museum. We did get enough drivers for the field trip. Thank you to all the parents that volunteered. Thursday is scheduled to be a free dress day for Catholic Schools Week, but due to the field trip the students must wear their uniforms on Thursday. We did not want the 6th graders to miss out on a free dress day, so they will have their free dress day on Tuesday, February 7th.

Also this quarter for Math we will be focusing on Mathletics. I will assign two-four tasks each week on Mathletics. After the students complete the assigned tasks they are to pick two additional tasks of their own choice to complete for the week. I have given the students their Mathletic user names and passwords and they all were able to sign in last week in class.

This month is also Valentine's Day. The students will be able to exchange Valentine's Day cards as long as they bring a card for every student.
