Outdoor Education is at Walden West, in Saratoga, CA.  We will leave at 8:30 AM on Monday, October 3rd and return on Friday, October 7th at around 12:30 PM.  Students can be picked up at 12:30 after they check-in with me.  All transportation will be by parent drivers. 

 

On Monday they will need a bag lunch, but that is the only food that they need to bring with them.  Please do not send any food, candy, or gum with them in their suitcase or in the mail.

 

Walden West has a very strict Medication policy.  I am not allowed to dispense any prescription medication, over the counter medication, or vitamins to your child without written document signed by both your child’s doctor and a parent.  For any medications you need to fill out Walden West’s Medication Release Form and give me a bottle of the medication Monday morning before we leave.  Please do not pack any medication (prescription or over the counter) in your child’s bag. 

 

Students love to get letters from home.  I will deliver letters every morning at breakfast.  You have two options for letters.  Mail can be sent to Walden West or Tuesday morning you can give me the letters.  If you do decide to send the mail, I would suggest that you send it a week or so before we leave so that it is there on time.
