Dear Parents:
          Hope your holiday vacation was restful and brought quality family time to you all.  The faculty and staff wish our community the happiest of New Years.  Let us pray for good health and for those seeking employment  We are most thankful to each and everyone here at Nativity.

1.  CONFIRMATION:  The Rite of Enrollment Mass for all Confirmation candidates will be held this Sunday, January 10, at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Nativity.  All Confirmation candidates should plan to attend.

2.  A NIGHT WITH THE STARS AUCTION 2010:  Our Auction Chair and committees are very busy so make sure you SAVE THE DATE for this wonderful evening, Saturday, February 20.  Please read the enclosed fliers.  Your invitation is enclosed as well.

3.  OPEN HOUSE:  Mark your calendars for our annual Open House on Sunday, January 31.  We will begin with 9:30 a.m. Family Mass at Church of the Nativity and continue at school with the Open House from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The Open House is for all current students and parents and for prospective families.  Please invite any friends, neighbors, or relatives who may be interested in having their children attend Nativity School.  Applications for Fall 2010 are available online at www.nativityschool.com or by calling the school office, 325-7304.

4.  BASKETBALL SEASON:  Exciting indeed!  We open this Friday night at 5 p.m. in the Sobrato Pavilion. The snack bar will be open.  All games on Saturday will be played at St. Raymonds.  GO PANTHERS!

5.  CRAB CIOPPINO DINNER:   The Nativity Men's Club is hosting a Crab Cioppino dinner on Saturday, January 23rd.  Please get your reservation in now!  Last chance!  Please see enclosed flier.

6.  SOCK DRIVE:  5th Grade would like to thank everyone who participated in the Christmas Sock Drive.  We were able to fill over 200 socks for various St. Vincent de Paul locations around the bay area.  According to their spokesperson, the organization looks forward to distributing them every year and are very grateful.  Thank you for all the contributions, to the Student Council for helping us sort, and to our wonderful room moms for helping fill socks and tie holiday ribbons.  God Bless you and Happy New Year!
