Dear Parents:
Lenten
Prayer
1. THANK
YOU: It
was a successful first electronic Wednesday newsletter last week.
We
received a number of positive responses regarding “less paper” and ease
of
receiving the newsletter electronically. We would like to take
this
opportunity to thank the Moms who came in each week to help stuff the
Wednesday
envelopes: Vilma Castro, Elena Pineda, and Teresita Bravo.
We will
miss seeing you each week as we save all that paper.
2. VALENTINE’S
DAY:
In honor of St. Valentine, Student Council is sponsoring “Red, White
and Pink
Day” tomorrow, Thursday, February 14. Students may wear jeans or
uniform
pants with any appropriate red, white or pink top.
3. PRESIDENT’S
DAY:
Monday, February 18, is the President’s Day holiday. There will
be no
school and no extended care.
4. ACADEMIC
DECATHLON:
The following students and their coaches, Mr. Rick Ferranti, Mrs. Lucie
Ferranti, and Ms. Olcese, have been working hard preparing for the
Academic

Huynh,

number of students have come to school without a lunch or lunch
money. Please
make sure your child has a lunch or lunch money with him or her.
