| Dear Parents: |
| Lenten Prayer "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing." My God, so often we are the same. We act without thinking. We overlook the needs around us. Be with us as we begin Holy Week. Give us a heart for justice. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who supplies all of our needs. Amen. |
| 1. LENT: During
Lent, the students will participate in the Stations of the Cross at
Vallombrosa with Father Roland and continue to observe these 40 days
with prayer and good deeds. |

A NIGHT WITH THE STARS:
WOW! What an amazing evening. The night of the auction was
abuzz with energy. The evening was a great success. Thank
you to all who helped make "The Night With the
Stars" such a success. We were blessed with a fabulous
committee, donors, school and parish families, and volunteers
throughout
all stages of planning. The parent and parish community came
together to meet the $30K goal for the Smart Board Fund-A-Need; this
was met with a very generous matching donation of $30K! Nativity
is a
special community, one that all are proud to share in. |
| 4. CONFIRMATION RETREAT: The Retreat for Confirmation candidates will be held Monday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the O'Hare Center. Nativity students report to class as usual and will walk down to the O'Hare Center. Students will be dismissed from the O'Hare Center at 3 p.m. Please remember that the $50 Confirmation fee (check made payable to Nativity Church) is due to Sister Merlynn. |

of numerous sports camps. Carrie Herrera ran camps for
Hillsborough School District and was the Director for the YMCA in
Redwood City for six years. Please return the enclosed flyer and
deposit as soon as possible. I am depending on you because
once again we need 30 firm commitments. |
