| Dear Parents:
EASTER:
New Life
in Christ
Jesus Christ is risen, Alleluia! Alleluia! Thanks be to God, Alleluia! Alleluia! |
| 1. HOLY WEEK: Please remember to share the spiritual growth Holy Week inspires with your children. Holy Thursday Mass at The Church of the Nativity is at 7:30 p.m. Good Friday offers opportunity for solemn devotion. |
| 2.
LAP-A-THON: Friday, April 23, we will have our 5th annual fun
run. All our students look
forward to participating in this event. They are very excited
once again to have a bike as part of the raffle for those students
raising $200 or more. This will be the
best ever Lap-A-Thon! We need lots of volunteers so be sure
to sign up on the enclosed form. This is a good opportunity to
complete your service hours. |
| 3. LIFETOUCH SPRING PICTURE DAY: Lifetouch photographers will be here on Thursday, April 15, for "Spring Portrait Day." April 15 will be a "free dress" day so students may wear their Easter outfits or choose an outfit that is appropriate. This Spring Portrait Day is new to Nativity. There is no obligation to purchase any of the pictures unless you choose to do so. No payment is required upfront, nothing to fill out. In approximately three weeks you will receive a portrait packet. More information will follow. |
| 4.. MANDATORY ROOM PARENT MEETING: All Room Parents are to meet on Wednesday, April 14, at 7:00 p.m. in the school library to discuss the Teacher/Staff Appreciation Luncheon. |
| 5.
LOST AND FOUND: Our barrel is FULL! Please check
the over-flowing sweatshirt bin. All sweatshirts have names on
their labels. |
| 6. EASTER BASKET AND
CLOTHING DRIVE: Thank you to all who donated items and
clothes to the Easter collection. Last Thursday Nativity's three
Girl Scout Troops were able to put together 86 baskets to be donated to
the St. Vincent de Paul Society and New Creation Ministry, and it took
two trips to deliver the clothes to St. Francis Center. Thank you
for your generosity! |
|
7. SERVICE HOURS REMINDER: Just a reminder that
there is only 1 month
left to complete your service hours for the present school year. April 30 is the cut-off date.
Service hour cards are coming home today to
post your March hours. Remember, we
can’t track your hours if you don’t turn in your card.
Please contact Clora Hanley if you have you
have any questions. |
| 8.
MERCY HIGH SCHOOL: Mercy
