| 1. RETURNING FAMILY LETTER: Please see attached important
information for returning to Nativity
School in the fall. Hard copies of Tuition
contracts
and Emergency forms are being sent home today in your Wednesday
envelope. The forms should be filled out and returned to the
school office by Friday, May 30. The attachments to this week's
Wednesday
newsletter will include sign-up sheets for Yard Duty and Hot Lunch for next
year. Please consider signing up for the Yard Duty and Hot
Lunch. |

2. FACULTY NEWS: Ms. Pacheco has decided to
return to her prior teaching assignment. I am in the process of
interviewing for the third grade teaching position. It
takes time to
find just the right candidate. I will continue to
keep you posted.

3. CARNIVAL: A
hard copy of a
Carnival Help Wanted flyer is enclosed in this week's envelope.
The Carnival Committee is desperate for help on Friday and Saturday
and at clean-up time on Sunday. It's a great way to get a
start on your service hours for next year. Please fill
out and return to the school office, c/o Deb Ramos.
Calling all singers . . . The Carnival
entertainment is looking for Nativity students that want to sing on the
new stage on Saturday at the Carnival. If you want to sing a song
at the Carnival on Saturday afternoon, please contact Mr. Russ Castle
at 650-722-3974. He has all the details.

4. CALENDAR 2008-2009: Due to
WASC Accreditation, there will be additional days off during the next
school year. Please check our yearly school calendar for 2008-2009.

5. TUITION: Tuition Statements
are enclosed for anyone who has a balance due. The school
year is coming to
an end. Please settle your accounts as soon as possible.

6. STUDENT COUNCIL: The students
elected our Student Council for 2008-2009. There will be an
Inauguration Ceremony on Friday, May
30, at 1:45 p.m. at Nativity Church. Congratulations to the
following newly elected officers: President Matt Boland, Vice
President Saane Fakalata, Treasurer
Maddison Morgan, Secretary Antonio Porras, Commissioner of Assemblies
Kathryn Hoy, Commissioners of Ecology Megan Anderson and Ali Badgett,
