| 1. SCHOOL MASS:
Our first
school Mass was celebrated today and coordinated by Grade 4.
Grades 1-8 attended. It is important to begin the school year
focusing on our Catholic Identity. There is no greater devotion
than the Mass. |
| 2. BACK TO SCHOOL
NIGHT: Hopefully all
parents have marked their calendars for Back-To-School Night,
Wednesday, September 9. It is mandatory
that at least one parent
attend. There will be no child care
available. Grades 1-4 6:45-7:15 p.m. Parents attend teacher presentation in classroom All Grades 1-8 7:15-8:00 p.m. All parents meet in Sobrato Pavilion for presentation by Principal Grades 5-8 8:00-8:30 p.m. Parents attend teacher presentation in classroom |
| 3. MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7: No School/No Extended Care on
Monday, September 7, Labor Day. |
| 4. SERVICE HOURS: Please make sure you have returned your service hour log card so that we may record any volunteer hours you did at the Carnival or over the summer. The service hour log card will go home the last Wednesday of each month. |
| 5. ART IN ACTION: We still need volunteer docents and helpers to help run the program this year. If you are interested in helping out, please fill out and return the enclosed AIA flyer. If you have any questions please call Donna Badgett at 261-0981. Thanks for your continued support of AIA! |

| 7. HOT LUNCH: We still need
volunteers to help serve hot lunch on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and
Fridays. Please send a note to the school office, c/o Linda

| 8. NATIVITY'S 2009-2010 BIBLE STUDY PROGRAM:

| 9. DIRECTORY REMINDER: Your
Directory information sheet is due Friday, September 4 if you have any
changes. |
| 10. MEN'S CLUB: The Nativity Men's Club dinner is October 3rd - Save the Date for the first ever alumni basketball game, dinner and a movie. See enclosed flier. |
| 11. FATHER-DAUGHTER DANCE SAVE THE DATE: The second annual Father-Daughter Dance will be held Friday, October 16, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Sobrato Pavilion. Cost is $50 per family and all proceeds will go directly to the Nativity Tuition Assistance Program. Tickets will go on sale next week. More information will follow next Wednesday. |
