Dear Parents:

1.  NATIVITY SCHOOL APPEAL:  A special thanks go to all who helped last Sunday.  Grade 7 and Ms. Myall  coordinated the Mass, the school choir performed under Mrs. Joe, our Board of Education members provided support at each Mass, our PTG Executive Board sponsored the Harvest Festival and the Nativity Men's Club served up the delicious Pancake Breakfast.  It warms my heart to have such wonderful parents and students so giving.  A sincere thanks to Natalie Barrales, past Nativity graduate, for speaking at each Mass.

2.  PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE WEEKOur faculty will be meeting with parents for conferences the week of November 9.  Your appointment time is enclosed in this week's envelope.  Please remember to return your child's report card at the time of conference.  It will be 12:30 dismissal all that week.

3.  KEPLER'S BOOK FAIR:  There's excitement in the air!  Don't forget to stop by the Book Fair in the library to purchase any of the wonderful books on display. It is an excellent collection of children's literature for all grades.  When you purchase books at Kepler's store, be sure to mention Nativity School at the register and Kepler's donates 10% back to our school.  Volunteers are still needed for Friday, October 30, after school.  Please contact Christa Enns at ennsnocal@comcast.net.  Included in your Wednesday evelope is your child's Wish List for the Book Fair.

4.  THANK YOU:  Special thanks to Mrs. Monica Gentry, Mr. Rob Gentry, Mrs. Renee Zimmerman, Mr. Dave Skelley, Mrs. Sue Ann Curley and Mrs. Carol Hoy, for all their help at this year's Pumpkin Patch.  The pumpkins and "Kodak Moments" were enjoyed by all.

5.  FATHER-DAUGHTER DANCE:  Thank you to all 123 attendees of the 2nd Annual Father-Daughter Dance on October 16.  The beautiful girls danced the night away with their proud fathers, uncles and grandfathers!  All proceeds from this evening will go directly to the Nativity Tuition Assistance Program.  Another special thank you to all who baked the delicious treats and volunteered to work at the dance.  We look forward to seeing everyone next year for the 3rd  annual dance.  Thank you to Kim McNerney, Julie Cronin and Stephanie Polverari for coordinating this special event.
