| Dear Parents: |
| 1.
ADVENT: Advent is
a season of hopeful expectation. We watch and wait these days for
the coming of God, the gift of Emmanuel, Jesus. Our world is
busy, so much to do, so much to buy, so many people to see. Can
we pause for a moment to see, to feel, to believe in the wondrous
mystery about to unfold? God becomes one of us. Jesus, the
gift of God, is Love, God's love, become human. |
| 2.
RECONCILIATION: Grades 3-8 will receive the Sacrament of
Reconciliation at Nativity Church on Thursday, December 3, at 9 a.m. |
| 3.
SCHOOL MASS: Grade

coordinating our December monthly Mass on Tuesday, December 8, at 9
a.m. The Feast of the
Immaculate Conception, December 8, is a Holy Day of Obligation.

at Mass. |

SPIRIT DAY: Student Council is sponsoring a Christmas
Spirit Day. Come to school on Friday, December 11, dressed
in your red, white and green Christmas season colors! Remember to
bring your gym shoes for P.E. MERRY CHRISTMAS! |
| 12. ABSENCE & TARDY NOTIFICATION: There has been some confusion regarding who to notify whenever your child is going to be absent or tardy. A call should be made directly to the office by 9:00 AM on the day of the absence. Even if an email has been sent to the teacher, the office needs a phone call. Also, a phone call needs to be made each day your child is absent due to illness, unless you specifically tell the office that your child will be absence the following day or days. Remember, that a Leave of Absence form must be completed whenever student will be missing 3 or more days due to a family trip. |
|
Blessings,
Mrs. Trelut
