Advent
Dear
God,
Help us during this season of Advent. In this time of year we celebrate the coming of your son, Jesus Christ. We praise you and thank you for this. With the coming of the Messiah we are saved from our sins. We will be thankful for everything you have done for us during this season of Christmas. You have given us the greatest gift possible and we should be like you and give to everyone else. Jesus' birth was a sign of God's marvelous deeds and proves how much He loves us. Help us show good actions everyday and help us become more like you every day. This is a very important time of year because of this great gift of your son coming to earth. He was born of the Virgin Mary, became man, and died on the cross for us. Help us to make sacrifices for others just as He did. By making sacrifices, we learn to spread God's word to others and fulfill Jesus' mission. As Christians, we love Jesus with all our hearts and believe that he exists. We thank you, Lord, for the precious gift of your only Son. Amen Andrea
