8. PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY: Friday, May 28, Drake Dahl was Principal For a
Day. Mr. Dahl began his day with morning announcements. His first
decision as Principal was to extend recess and the school body
applauded him! Drake had a very full schedule as he addressed the
challenges of his position. Today, we were pleased to have Anna
Paczuski as our Principal. Miss Paczuski did an amazing job handling
her busy schedule as Nativity nears the end of this school year. We
appreciate her leadership skills. We wish to thank both Mr. Dahl and
Miss Paczuski for their success as Principal For a Day.
9. CARNIVAL RIDES: For the first time ever we will be offering carnival

11. SCRIP: Please try to order Scrip before the last day of school. We

fill your order. Scrip will not be available June 24-July 5th. Please
check our website under tab “Scrip” for FAQs and information.
12. SERVICE HOURS: The new service hour period has started. Since
service hours will now be posted online, the traditional yellow card
will no longer be sent home or returned to the school office. You will
be notified when the online posting is ready. Until then, you may use
the attached “worksheet” to track any hours you have done since May 1,
2010 and throughout the summer. Contact Clora Hanley with any questions.
13. USED UNIFORMS: If your children have outgrown their uniforms,
please consider donating the uniforms to our Used Uniform closet. Our

14. SHIELD THE VULNERABLE: There is a required on line training course
entitled, “Shield the Vulnerable” for all volunteer parents. We all
must take this course. Please click on the link on the front page of
our website. At the completion, you will be given a certificate. Please
print a copy and turn into the school office. It would be greatly
appreciated if you would complete this before the end of this school
year. If not, please do so during the summer and turn it in the first
day of school. Thank you to those who have completed the course.
15. BACKGROUND CHECK AUTHORIZATION: Parents who volunteer for yard
duty, chaperone drivers or as classroom helpers, must fill out a
Background Check Authorization form available on our website. The
completed form and a copy of your driver’s license must be turned into
the school office. It would be greatly appreciated if you would
complete this before the end of this school year. If not, please do so
during the summer and turn it in the first day of school. Thank you to
those who have turned these in.

through Friday of this week. Pizza will be served as usual.
Blessings,
Mrs. Trelut
Principal
