Giovanni Bellini

Basic Information on Giovanni
    Giovanni Bellini was born in Venice, italy in 1430. Giovanni died in Venice when he was 86 during 1516.  His whole family were painters. He was born to Jacopo Bellini and Anna Reversi. He had a brother and sister named Gentile and Niccolsa. He learned to be a artist from his dad; who learned from Gentile du Fibrin.


Accomplishments

    He taught both Giorgione and Titian who became famous painters. A German painter, Albrecht Durer, said that he was the best painter of all.  He taught so of the most famous people of the Renaissance.  Some of his famous paintings were:
